Vu2Vu Networks participated yesterday in the 2013 Irish Trade Mission to Dallas that is being led by Minister Richard Bruton T.D., Minister for Enterprise Jobs & Employment. Minister Bruton stated that “Jobs are at the very top of the Irish Government’s agenda, and a central part of the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs is to increase export activity with key markets and regions, such as Texas”.  Minister Richard Bruton T.D

Vu2Vu Provides Entrepreneur Link to Posnań, Poland

Talk between Ireland and Poland is not just about soccer and the Euro 2012 football tournament.  Entrepreneurs from Posnań, Poland and the Guinness Enterprise Centre (Dublin) recently met via video conference to discuss opportunities in their respective markets and to compete in a business pitching competition.

Guest speakers from Enterprise Ireland, Dublin Business Innovation Centre, and Huge Thing (the leading accelerator for start-up companies in Poland) as well as five Irish companies and three Polish companies participated in this unique event.

Vu2Vu donates service and time to Cystic Fibrosis Worldwide

World experts in Cystic Fibrosis treatment and patient associations recently met in Dublin for the 35th European Cystic Fibrosis Conference. As a precursor to the European Conference, Cystic Fibrosis Worldwide (CFW) provided a half day video training on Developing Winning Grant Proposals presented by the Grantsmanship Centre.  Videoconferencing facilities for this event were supplied on a pro bono basis by Vu2Vu Networks Ltd, a global customer service provider for Vidyo, Inc.

Business Travel Increasing as Business Travel Value Declines

A study of 400 executives revealed that even as business travel in Europe is increasing, the value of this same travel is declining.  This research conducted by Coleman Parkes Research (http://bit.ly/pALp7e) showed that the increase in business travel is due to domestic flights so that the executives could attend “regular” meetings.  This study also reveals that 4 in 10 companies do not have video conferencing available to them.
